NL Lounge programme


AVAG Dutch Greenhouse Technology Center, the Netherlands Embassy in Mexico, and the Netherlands Business Support Office are the organizers of the NL Lounge.

The NL Lounge is a place where visitors can receive information about the Dutch greenhouse sector and the services of the Netherlands Embassy in Mexico, and the Netherlands Business Support Office Querétaro. If you want to do business with a company in Dutch horticulture but don't know where to start? Look for us at the NL Lounge during GreenTech Americas and we'll assist you.

There is also an interesting programme with informative "Meet the experts sessions"

The government of the city of Morelia, Michoacan, is in the process of developing a new Agropark. They are in close contact with the Netherlands embassy in Mexico City in order to receive orientation. They are looking for Dutch investors, but also for Dutch greenhouse knowledge and technology that can be used in the project. They are planning a visit to the Netherlands in the week of GreenTech Amsterdam. Join this session to know more about their project.

Commissioned by the Dutch Embassy in Mexico and AMHPAC, UNAM is researching the water footprint of Mexico’s protected horticulture sector. This study aims to position the sector as a key player in addressing water challenges, using data-driven insights and independent analysis.

The Netherlands embassy in Mexico is planning to organize a trade mission on irrigation later this year. Mexico is big, and challenges related to water differ per region. During this session information about the trade mission will be shared and input from you for to make the mission a success can be given.
